The Toadies announce the postponement of the dates of the anniversary tour of “Rubberneck”

Toadies recently announced a handful of Onlooker 25th anniversary shows to end their year with the promise that more were to come. Now, they’ve delivered on their promise with a full hike next fall that will give their ’90s record its due, even if the timing is just a little over 25.

The Toadies “25th Anniversary (and then some, and then some) Onlooker The tour will begin September 13 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with dates booked through October 28 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. See all the newly announced cities, dates and locations listed below.

For the 2022 run, the group will take Reverend Horton Heat as their primary backing, with Nashville Pussy and Drakulas opening shows on select dates (as noted below).

As stated, the tour is intended to promote the anniversary of their 1994 album Onlooker, which produced their biggest radio hit “Possum Kingdom”, as well as stars such as “Mister Love”, “Away”, “Tyler” and “Backslider”. The band will play the album back and forth on upcoming dates. Additionally, Rev. Horton Heat will be celebrating an album of their own during the race, playing the Liquor in the Front produced by Al Jourgensen in its entirety.
