We now have an official release date for Overlord Season 4 after a long wait. So here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season.

Overlord is a popular Madhouse anime series based on the light novel series by Kugane Maruyama. The first season of the anime aired in 2015, followed by two more seasons in 2018. Each season of the anime consisted of 13 episodes, and fans enjoyed every minute of it. It’s no surprise, then, that Madhouse opted to pursue the TV show for a second season as well as a movie.

Madhouse confirmed the fourth season in May 2021, and the animation company has now revealed more details about the upcoming season’s start date.

Overlord Season 4 gets an official release date

Overlord Season 4 will air in July 2022, without any details on the month of its premiere or its availability in other countries, according to the show’s creators. Seasons 1 and 3 premiered in July, with Season 2 airing from January to April 2018, just three months before the start of the third season. Many people are speculating about another summer release based on this information.

In a live video announcing Season 4 of Overlord, the show’s creators let fans know which voice actors will be returning for the fourth season.

When Satoshi Hino voices Ainz Ooal Gown, Nazarick’s most important Supreme Being, he will be back. He will also be one of the main characters in the series. Albedo, the high-ranking, love-needy character voiced by Yumi Hara in season 3, was revealed to be a virgin succubus in season 3.

Sumire Uesaka is back to voice Shalltear Bloodfallen, a cruel, cold and terrible little monster who is also very pretty. He will be voiced by Kenta Miyake again in Season 4. This time, the sixth floor twin guardians, Aura and Mare, will be voiced by Emiri Kato. Masayuki Katou is said to be returning to voice Demiurge, the blade-tailed Seventh Floor Guardian and leader of NPC defenses, in-game again.
