NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Wednesday questioned the Uttar Pradesh government for filing back-to-back FIRs against Samajwadi party leader Azam Khan and asked for a response to the man’s plea policy alleging he was being harassed and lawsuits were pending to keep him. in custody “What is it? He said the allegation against the politician was serious and there was substance to the allegation. The court then asked the state to file a response and released the case to May 17.
Khan was facing investigation in 88 cases and was released on bail in 87 cases last year and was also released on bail in the last case a day before by the High Court on May 10. But a few days ago new cases were filed against him and he cannot be released from jail despite securing bail in 88 cases.
