Early life
Wojcicki was born in Palo Alto, California on July 28, 1973, when Anne E. Father Stanley served as chair of the physics department at Stanford University before retiring as professor emeritus of physics. His mother Esther is a Jewish journalist.
A former Stanford student, Anne grew up with two older sisters named Susan and Janet. Susan and Janet are epidemiologists and anthropologists working for YouTube.
At Gunn High School in Massachusetts, Wojcicki was editor of the school newspaper, “The Oracle”, and enjoyed ice skating and hockey.
She also contributed to the school newspaper and received a scholarship for her sports writing.
